  • The specific role of the project manager, a balance between influence and authority
  • Principles of influential leadership
  • Leadership styles at different stages of the project
  • Getting the group to commit to the project
  • Application exercises and structured discussions

 

Stage 2: Involving the group in the project

  • Mapping the project's stakeholders using socio-dynamics to form the group and establish influence strategies
  • Mobilising people around the project, successfully launching the project
  • Pitching to persuade
  • Application exercises: Working on your sales pitch;

 

Stage 3: Overcoming resistance to the project

  • Recognising and managing obstructive behaviour
  • Mobilising allies
  • Negotiating and influencing
  • Managing disagreements
  • Application exercises, role-playing

 

Stage 4: The difficulties and biases of working in a group

  • Making decisions in a group: power struggles, quality of leadership
  • The different ways of working together or communicating at different stages of the project
  • Application exercises based on professional situations:
  • Build a collaborative action plan;
  • Conduct a participatory review
