Stage 1: What is the point of 'conversation'?

  • What are the barriers to informal communication?
  • Six ways of structuring our time to suit others
  • Recommended subjects, subjects to avoid
  • Collaborative workshop on current practices;

 

Stage 2: Daring to break the ice How do you strike up a conversation with a stranger?

  • What do you do after saying hello?
  • Adopting an open stance to encourage discussion
  • Application exercises, role-playing

 

Stage 3: How to ask questions to open up a potential line of response?

  • How to take an interest and respond to feed the conversation?
  • Applying to professional situations;

 

Stage 4: Establishing a balanced relationship

  • Establishing common ground
  • Telling your story to arouse curiosity
  • Storytelling exercises

Evaluation and monitoring methods

  • Self-positioning by participants on a digital platform shared with the trainer (at the beginning and end of the course)
  • Assessment by the trainer at the end of the course
  • On-the-spot assessment immediately after the course
  • REX - One-hour practice-sharing workshops one or two months after the initial training course
  • Post-training assessment one or two months after the course
  • Performance questionnaire sent to the customer three months after the course
