Stage 1: What is critical thinking and why is it a key business skill?

  • What is critical thinking (to be distinguished from argumentativeness)
  • Why develop critical thinking at work (problem-solving, changes, decision-making)

Stage 2: How to develop your critical thinking?

  • 5 levers for developing critical thinking
  • Being aware of your cognitive biases
  • Knowing how to distinguish between Facts/ Opinions/ Feelings

Role plays - Feedback from the trainer and participants

 

Stage 3: Using critical thinking to overcome obstacles/help the group move forward

  • Face-to-face (identifying and overcoming misleading bias)
  • In meetings (proposing an objective decision-making methodology)

Stage 4: Using critical thinking to make decisions

  • Identifying typical decision-making behaviours
  • Decision-making tools
  • The 7 stages of decision-making
  • Deciding alone or in a group (strengths and limitations)

Evaluation and monitoring methods

  • Self-positioning by participants on a digital platform shared with the trainer (at the beginning and end of the course)
  • Assessment by the trainer at the end of the course
  • On-the-spot assessment immediately after the course
  • REX - One-hour practice-sharing workshops one or two months after the initial training course
  • Post-training assessment one or two months after the course
  • Performance questionnaire sent to the customer three months after the course
